A short fiction and poetry e-zine some weeks.
Clever thoughts about story, poetry, and being a decent creative human being in other weeks.
Delivered every Wednesday (really!) since 2020.
I have read authors who write in different genres. I don’t feel compelled to read everything an author writes. I might try a book because they wrote it and I liked another one. Nothing wrong with following an inspiration.
Another author once told me the only way to become a bestseller is to write according to a formula. I told her that means I’m never becoming a bestseller then… and that’s okay because I’m not writing to a formula. She was aghast that thought that advice was crap, but she also spouted a lot of popular writing “advice,” so there’s that.
