The Thursday! Newsletter 1-28: Insert Clever Newsletter Here
Volume 1, Issue 28
I'm sorry, but there isn't a clever, helpful essay today.
I don't have it in me. To be perfectly honest, I've been getting my creative butt handed to me the past month or so and I don't have a clever comeback for it. I'm tired. I'm pessimistic. I'm not really sure if my creative "career" is meant to be more than a creative hobby that I break out once in a while for yuks. There isn't anything useful I can share right now and I do not want to waste your time with some fake happy-crappy motivational junk. Other writers will do that. Not me. I may suck as a writer but at least I don't suck that badly!
Anyhow, there are some cool things in the other sections below this. You won't waste your time if you read them once or twice, or even three times.
I expect to be back next week. It's okay if you want to bail out and unsubscribe, on the off chance this funk lasts. It might. Who the heck knows, right? But enough of that. Go on. Read some cool stuff. Have a good week. Go be awesome. :)

What I Wrote and Read Last Week (More or Less)
"The Last Man" is a fun little story about a scared man who thinks he's the lone survivor of the apocalypse and another scared man who thinks he's...well, you get the idea.
"Death Came for Seth" and Seth called him "bruh". I don't think Death was quite ready for that.
I'm trying to remember not to borrow trouble from the past or future and Leo Babauta's short post on relaxing in a stressful situation is a good reminder for me.

Arts and/or Letters, to Class Up the Joint
The Indiana State Board of Health was not messing around when it came to your bowels or foul air (which, honestly, might be related). Also, I'm pretty sure the refreshment table at board meetings, held appropriately early of course, were not terribly appetizing.

One Last Thing
This is where I ask you to help me out. I don't like asking for help but there's no way I can share Thursday! far and wide without wonderful people like you who dig what I do and are willing to tell other people about it. Please, feel free to share this or any past newsletter with anyone you think will love it like you do. You can also tell them about my cool book, give it a solid review, or buy an autographed copy (ask and I'll tell you how!).
If you're seeing Thursday! for the first time, HI! I'm glad to meet you. If you want more, you can read previous issues and subscribe right here.
As always, you can always talk back to me by hitting the reply button! I can't promise I'll always answer back, because I'm quite forgetful, but I'll read everything you send.
